Art Gallery Fabrics Stitched Event with Kimberley - Welded Quilt - Part 2

With my Anna Elise Art Gallery fabrics and armed with the Welded Quilt pattern I set off on a slightly different tangent.  I decided on a smaller project that was perfect for the Welded Quilt pattern. This has been a great event by Fat Quarter Shop and Art Gallery Fabrics.

The fabrics in this range are just so sweet and the colours compliment the feel of this fabric beautifully.

I decided on making a large Scatter Cushion (26in x 26in).  Just perfect for a young lady I know that will love this to add to her room.

After Fussy Cutting the centre block I worked the pattern just the same as for the Quilt and also adding the corner blocks which are great to sew as they will lay nice and flat as these are not cut on the bias for sewing.

There are so many varied versions of the Welded Quilt over at the #weldedquilt by the very talented designers who joined in on this event.

Make sure to pop over on Instagram and check out all the Quilts, Dresses, Backpacks and other creations made with the Welded Quilt Pattern

Art Gallery Fabrics Stitched Event with Kimberley - Welded Quilt

I am excited to announce today that I have been invited to join the AGF Stiched Event featuring the - Welded Quilt together with Fat Quarter Shop.  You can get all the details for this AGF Stitched Event with kimberley here

This event will feature some very Inspiring Bloggers and Designers.  So make sure to stop by and check out their Quilts as they go too.

There is even a kit to make the Welded Quilt  just like Kimberley's as well
as the Backing Kit.

For my choice of fabrics I have decided to go with this very sweet range Anna Elise by Bari J for Art Gallery Fabrics.  I could not go past the young girls on horseback or the very cute bunnies and guitars featured in this range.  The colours are so fresh and I have plans to make a smaller project a little different to the Quilt.  But I will keep you all up to date with this as I go.

Happy Sewing
