  32. There is a lot to love about Quilt Big (and I LOVE the colors you slelected for your threads!!). But I think my lost favorite thing is that it allows me the opportunity to get creative with some of my large and extra large patterned fabrics that I have been stashing away for far too long because I couldn’t bare cutting them up. These larger quilt patterns will finally allow for my beautiful large print fabrics to shine!!

  48. I love the big blocks for a couple of reasons...first, I will finish the quilt more quickly so I can get to the quilting part (my favorite part) and second, there is a lovely amount of space for modern quilting!! I can also use some of my hoarded fabric because the larger pieces will show off the fabric so well!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Fast and easy sounds good to me. Also bigger blocks means fabric with larger prints can be used.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Quilting Big is great for when you need a handmade quilt to snuggle under and want to get it done fairly quickly. Plus, big blocks can showcase some larger motifs from the fabric instead of cutting it down. Thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net
