Two Hearts Quilt Pattern Release

Turns out that I am a bit of a fan in designing and creating Heart patterns.  It turns out that this is the 8th Heart inspired pattern I have published, with 6 being stand alone patterns and 1 in each of my Books - Weekend Quilting and Quilt Big.

Introducing the Two Hearts Quilt

When I got my hands on the Darlings #2 bundle from Ruby Star Society I immediately knew that I was going to make up this design for the cover.  With the greatest prints and perfect match of Low Volume prints in this collection it made for just the right mix.  I wanted a bold and statement style modern quilt, featuring hearts that was also great for those early in their quilting journey to achieve.

This version was made with all my beloved Carolyn Friedlander fabrics from my stash. I have been keeping them very safe on the shelf but I knew it was their time to shine.  I really wanted to showcase how this pattern, although being a heart design could deliver a "masculine" feel with these darker prints and absolutely stunning Essex Linen Yarn Dye Metallic in Midnight (by Robert Kaufman)

Make a Quilt from the Heart featuring hearts.  This modern and bold Heart design quilt is the perfect quilt to make for someone you love.  You can also  use this design to gift a handmade present for occasions such as Engagements, Weddings or to celebrate to arrival of a precious new baby.  Wrap up someone you love in a Two Hearts quilt of their very own.

The pattern is Fat Quarter friendly and comes in 3 sizes - Baby Quilt 32.5in x 40.5in (83cm x 103cm), Large Lap/Twin Quilt 64.5in x 72.5in (164cm x 194cm) and a Queen Quilt 80.5in x 88.5in (205cm x 225cm). Great for the confident Beginner.

Also available for wholesale customers through Creative Abundance.

Happy Quilting
