Chain of Hearts Quilt Pattern

Introducing my Chain of Hearts Quilt pattern.  I have to admit this design has been in the works for several years.  I first drew up and designed this quilt about 2 years ago, I even pulled this exact fabric that I ended up still using because these fabrics are spectacular.  Over that time, the quilt would come out and then for one reason or another be put aside.

So back in about March, I decided it was time to get this design out and sewn up because I had lots of ideas for how to make this pattern even better now.

I wanted to design a beautiful heart inspired design for this quilt and played with the layout quite a bit.  For me this was the first time I had designed a pattern "on point" and so I knew that in terms of how I was going to write out the pattern and work up the diagrams was going to be a new challenge but one I was excited to take on.  After working up this design in the Throw size, I knew that this would make the perfect Baby Quilt and Pillow sizes as well to add more options to this pattern.

In the midst of all this designing and creating in these beautiful Liberty fabrics and Chambrays, I happened to have come across my desk - the amazing Alison Glass Sunprint 2019 arrive and well - I knew what I needed to now include in this design.  That's right - a Rainbow order version.

Bringing together Sunprint 2019 and the Kaleidoscope collection fabrics was just a made made in Alison Glass fabric heaven.

The Chain of Hearts Pattern includes three sizes - Baby, Throw and Pillow versions in the 4 colour version along with the Throw size in the Rainbow Order colour way.  Full colour photos and illustrations are included in this bumper 18page pattern as well as a Colouring Sheet to help you plan.

This pattern is also available to wholesale customers through Creative Abundance (who stock and distribute my patterns internationally)
