Spring Market - 2016 - Salt Lake City

When I first starting designing Quilts and sewing patterns never in my wildest dreams did I think that one day not only would I go to Quilt Market but actually get to exhibit there as Tied with a Ribbon.

With my Pattern Distributor Creative Abundance, I was able to showcase some of my latest designs.

And with my sewing buddy Claire Turpin I was all set for one of the most exhausting and amazing weeks of my professional Quilting career.  For me - Market was all about the people.  There have been so many people that I have connected with over the years and without their ongoing friendships and support I don't think I would be doing this.

Rachel H and Ashley Jepperson
Kate Henderson
Peta Peace
Nada Ridgeway

Shari Butler
Christine, Samantha Lee Olsen and Holly LeSue
Elea Lutz
Sedef Imer

Amy Sinabaldi
Alex Veronelli
Amelia Johanson
Claire Turpin

And of course there was so much inspiration to be found in all the quilts, fabrics and booths.  These are just a few of my favourites that I found while out and about.  The actual size of Quilt Market just blew my mind - it kept going and going!

Rifle Paper Co - Cotton and Steel
This is the one collection that got away from me - I totally missed out on getting my hands on some at Sample Spree.

Unfortunately there was little time for sightseeing before jumping back on the flight home but I did manage a walk around the beautiful Salt Lake City - just stunning.

Lets just say that Spring Market was amazing.  These are just a few of the photos I took while I was at Quilt Market - having flown home after a 35 hour journey home I am nothing less than shattered but totally loving that I got to attend and meet so many of my Quilting friends.

Happy Sewing
