Earlier this year when I travelled to Quilt Market I was lucky enough to meet the very lovely Shannon Gillman Orr - a Surface and Sewing Pattern Designer for Moda Fabrics. Shannon was showcasing her (then) upcoming range - Acreage at her Moda Booth.
I was immediately drawn to the colour palette and prints that Shannon had designed and just love the fresh almost "zesty" vibe to this collection and then just jumped at the opportunity to work with this range for this Blog Tour.
We were sent a huge box of "scrap" fabrics from the range to work with and I set about sewing some designs using these odd sized pieces to create with. The range features bicycles, florals, leaves, pegs, and sweet pears.

I was able to group the colours which made for these lovely pincushions. These will make great little gifts.
I love how all the prints work well together and co-ordinate so well together.

I just love to add sparkle to my projects when I can and these antenae are very glittery. I think my favourite is the Gingham prints. Acreage is shipping in September so should be available very soon at your favourite Quilt store.
